Merceds Band

In 2007 Merceds Band recorded their sophomore album, then titled “The Day We Lost Our Sunglasses’ hinting at the punchier rock approach of the music on the album as opposed to their funky debut. Sadly, due to line-up changes and band relationship turmoil, the album was eventually shelved and never released to this day.

The album is designed like and aged rock’n’roll diary, along with machine-type and hand-written lyrics and ‘fake’ crew and band member photos.
I came up with the concept, designed the sleeve, the accompanying lyric booklet and CD.
